Advertising some more Upcoming Summer Events in HRM and contiuning to provide encouragment for thoses living in poverty to attend

 By Kendall Worth!

As I have reported on in this BLOG post here, https://worthmatters.blogspot.com/2024/06/and-now-summer-season-of-2024-kicks-off.html Celebrating Canada Day have come and gone.

Then in this BLOG post here https://worthmatters.blogspot.com/2024/07/providing-encouragment-for-thoese.html I made a statement about how the concept of attending the Free Summer Events  (Especially the ones that provide live Music) is so good for mental health. The TD jazz Fest is coming to an end. However, I also advertised the free Concerts at the Public Gardens in that same BLOG post, and I just want to Remind People that these Public Gardens Free Concerts take place all Summer Long. So there is still lots of Opportunity, especially since Summer  has not reach the Halfway Point yet.

For Upcoming Opportunity to attend free events I invite you to see below:

Many I have had recent Conversations with; have said to me that Pride Events including the Concept of attending the Pride Prade and other Pride events, should be the one Free Event where Income Assistance Recipients should not have to concern themselves with Stigma.  They say just like the Thanksgiving Holiday in October, when you look at the meaning of the word pride, Pride should be a time that we could consider being Thankful for what we do in life weather we are rich or poor. Meaning should Not be limited to celebrating the LGBTQ Community.   I invite you to see this BLOG post here https://worthmatters.blogspot.com/2023/07/disability-pride.html for a different type of Pride Celebration that Took place in July of 2023.

Remember: Most important think about how attending any Summertime event is good for your mental health.
